2023 Revenue ranking of the largest European insurance groups

This new edition of the Revenue ranking of the largest European insurance groups does not retain, as in previous versions, the criterion of analysis by premium volume, since, the entry into force of the IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 accounting standards, insurance revenue is the new magnitude that appears in the profit and loss account, with gross written premiums disappearing from it and, therefore, the ranking’s previous format. In addition, this report also includes information on other magnitudes relevant to the analysis, such as results and balance sheet data, combined ratios and solvency levels of the insurance groups analyzed.
