In line with its international aid plan, Fundación MAPFRE has donated more than 235,000 euros (17 million pesos) to enable various institutions to acquire healthcare and hygiene equipment.

The majority of these funds will be allocated to providing 12,781 health kits (gowns, face masks, shoe covers and surgical caps) for the Dr. Bernardo Houssay Municipal Hospital in Vicente López and a further 10,225 kits for San Isidro Central Hospital.

Moreover, for two months, healthcare equipment and hygiene products will be delivered to the Hogar San José nursing home in Greater Buenos Aires (pictured) and the Santa Ana y San Joaquín day center in Buenos Aires, which belong to the Mensajeros de la Paz (Messengers of Peace) Civil Society Organization.

Supplies include alcohol-based hand gels, caps, shoe covers and gowns, antibacterial soap, disposable gloves and hand towels, infrared thermometers, face masks and more.

These measures are part of a 35 million euros global plan that Fundación MAPFRE is contributing to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic across 27 countries, with the aim of helping the most disadvantaged groups and ensuring that we emerge from this crisis with the least possible impact.
