MAPFRE’s management unit crosses borders in search of the institutional investors

MAPFRE AM, with a presence in 25 countries, has been broadening its reach through partnerships since 2017, when it bought into the French boutique, La Financière Responsable. Since then, assets under management have continued to grow and it currently has several funds in the market with the SRI Label. El Economista journal analyzes the situation of the Group’s asset management unit, which has surpassed 1.2 billion euros in assets.

MAPFRE AM, a leading Spanish asset manager in terms of overseas turnover

Year after year, Spanish fund managers have been increasing their presence abroad, and at the end of April, companies in the sector held close to 15.5 billion euros in Luxembourg. Funds People magazine has compiled a ranking of national fund managers who also operate outside Spain, which puts MAPFRE AM in second position, with assets in excess of 1.2 billion euros.

MAPFRE maintains its leadership position in Non-Life insurance in Latin America

The Ranking of Insurance Groups in Latin America report produced by MAPFRE Economics shows that MAPFRE continues to lay claim to the number one spot in the Non-Life ranking in the region, with a market share of 6.5%.
