Transparency
Sustainability has become a growing concern for society, and this call has been heard by companies. Best practices like transparency enable us to adopt a series of principles and values that express our commitment in terms of corporate governance and business ethics.
Partnerships and institutional relations
MAPFRE actively participates and collaborates with key organizations and initiatives, both nationally and internationally, that are striving to contribute to sustainable development, to improving society, and to generating shared value for all stakeholders.
Accordingly, and as part of our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, we place special emphasis on SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by participating in different projects, agreements, and public-private collaboration initiatives that allow us to implement the ESG commitments set out in our Sustainability Plan 2022-2024.


Materiality
This involves us determining what issues may affect our activities most in terms of sustainability, bearing in mind stakeholders that may be affected or may affect those issues in this process.
Stakeholders
We are aware of the importance of meeting all our stakeholders’ expectations, with whom we have made a number of specific commitments and who we interact with through numerous relationship channels. That’s why we focus on creating and distributing value to all of them, through the development of our own business and our own social actions.
