Due to COVID-19, the need for home-delivered meals has grown and safety measures employed have greatly increased the cost of meals. Fundación MAPFRE is supporting home-delivered meals for seniors during this pandemic and will provide the necessary tools to Tri-Valley’s managers to work remotely to ensure that meals and other essential services run efficiently.

Elisabeth Prince, Executive Director of this non-profit agency thanked Fundación MAPFRE for “the generosity stepping up to help the response to the needs of seniors during the pandemic”. “This support is key not only to independent living, but to the health and well-being of our seniors”, she stated.

As an essential service, during this pandemic Tri-Valley continues to provide services to seniors and younger disabled individuals delivering Meals on Wheels, providing care management, in-home services, protective services, and fielding calls through its Information & Resource team.

Tri-Valley, Inc. is a private, non-profit agency providing in-home and community-based services in 25 towns located in South Central Massachusetts.

In Massachusetts, Fundación MAPFRE has allocated 2.3 million dollars to assisting with the provision of protective material in medical centers and hospitals.
