MAPFRE appoints Luis Anula as CEO in Portugal

MAPFRE has recently appointed Luis Anula as the new most senior executive of SEGUROS GERAIS in Portugal, effective on January 1, 2017.

Since he joined MAPFRE VIDA in 1987, Luis Anula has built a long career in the company. After holding several positions in the company in Galicia, he was appointed General Manager of MAPFRE VIDA PORTUGAL in 2003. He held this position until January 2008. Later, he was appointed Manager of Agency Network Business Development and Sales Manager for Individual Clients of MAPFRE ESPAÑA.

Before being appointed CEO, he was the Manager of Bancassurance for IBERIA’s regional area and Manager of Insurer Investee Companies.

A Business Management graduate from the A Coruna University, Luis Anula completed executive training at the ESADE business school.
