MAPFRE Economics releases interactive tools with global data for the insurance sector

These include a tool that makes rankings available to users for the largest insurance groups in Latin America and Europe. The online version is available at https://www.mapfre.com/en/interactive-information/

This tool shows the user a breakdown by premium volume of the main insurance groups across 19 countries in Latin America, as well as an analysis of concentration levels and how these have changed, all categorized into either the Life or Non-Life business lines. Similar information is also provided for the 15 main insurance groups in Europe.

As well as the rankings, MAPFRE Economics has developed a tool using the Global Insurance Potential Index (GIP), which allows the user to quantify insurance potential in 96 countries. It also ranks the various markets according to a scoring system based on how much they contribute to closing the global insurance protection gap. It will be published in the coming weeks, when the index is updated.
