MAPFRE and Bankinter reach an agreement about Non-Life insurance distribution in Portugal
MAPFRE and Bankinter Portugal have reached a mid/long-term strategic agreement about non-Life insurance to increase the offer to the bank’s retail and commercial lines, with exclusive products.
In the framework of said agreement, both companies collaborate to provide clients with a wide range of products, including health, personal accident, auto, and pet insurance, as well as commercial multi-risk, commercial auto, leased goods, and workers’ compensation.
Additionally, collaboration between MAPFRE’s and Bankinter’s commercial areas in the country is expected, to offer specialized service to clients with specific needs.
Further, the agreement includes the development of new technological solutions by MAPFRE, for price quotes and taking out insurance, and the insurer will also be responsible for providing after-sale service and assistance to Bankinter clients.
