2016 Ranking of the largest European insurance groups

The first section of the report presents rankings of Europe’s largest insurance groups in terms of total business, as well as in the life- and non-life segments, with the classification being based on overall premium volume. This ranking is followed by an analysis of the trends in the past decade that led to the current ranking, and the outlook for convergence among market players. It also includes information on each group’s solvency obtained from their Solvency and Financial Condition Reports (SFCR).
