Álvaro Anguita, CEO of MAPFRE AM, will be the new Chairman of the Inverco Pension Fund Grouping

Álvaro Anguita, CEO of MAPFRE AM, has been appointed Chairman of the Inverco Pension Fund Grouping, the employers’ association of the asset management industry, replacing José González, Director of Pensions and Group Benefits at Santander AM.

This appointment took place as part of the General Assembly of the employers’ association, held on Wednesday. Anguita will take on this new position on behalf of MAPFRE Vida y Pensiones.

Álvaro Anguita began his career in 1989 with the creation of MAPFRE Indosuez. After going through several positions in the Group, in 2010, he took over the investment fund and pension fund managers of the MAPFRE Group, MAPFRE AM SGIIC, and MAPFRE Vida Pensiones EGFP.
