CESVIMAP has checked the autonomy declared by the manufacturer for the Mitsubishi i-MiEV by dynamic tests trying to play all driving conditions.
Technicians have emphasized the total absence of noise and vibrations, its good agility run and more responsive to throttle than any vehicle in its segment.
It differs from conventional cars in its implementation, consisting of energy consumption indicators and state of battery that replace the tachometer and fuel gauge.
URBAN TESTS
The autonomy achieved in this test, with a totally urban travel has been of 142 km with a single occupant. Although thanks to the weather conditions during the test, it was not necessary to operate the air conditioning or lights, aspects that limit the autonomy in this type of vehicles.
ROAD TESTS
CESVIMAP has performed this test simulating common situations in intercity travels:
Going on with the study, we will reproduce the
same routes in the most unfavourable situations, which
are high-occupancy of the vehicle and using the air
conditioning and driving lights, these are aspects that
affect negatively the vehicle autonomy, according to the manufacturer.
