In CESVIMAP, the Mapfre Centre for Road Traffic Safety and Research, our task is to conduct research into the automobile, with our greatest efforts targeting repair methodology for the damage occurring as a result of an accident. Subsequently, we pass on the conclusions obtained from this research, through numerous publications and training activities.
CESVIMAP's scope of activity covers the study of
passenger cars, industrial vehicles and motorcycles. The
Centre's activities are aimed at those working in repair
shops, insurance companies, vehicle manufacturers,
appraisers, teachers and lecturers, and students on
vocational training courses, among others.
Since MAPFRE started out on this project, in 1983,
progress has been great. The question of responsibility,
which has always been at the root of our way of working,
has meant that we have been able to achieve and
guarantee the highest possible level of quality.
